Bathroom Exhaust Fan - Tripped AFCI Circuit Breaker. Is it a bad fan? Or could it be something else causing the breaker to trip???
Lets find out. In this video I will attempt to show you what I found when one of our bath room ceiling exhaust fan was switched on and a huge arc fireball came out through the vent of the plastic cover. The Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter Breaker did what it was designed to do. Would an old school breaker would have popped? 🤷‍♂️ Maybe, but the AFCI breaker did it’s job.
These breakers protect home owners in more ways than one.
Especially from the electricians who don’t take time and pay attention to detail. 🤦‍♂️
