🧬 Histologic Features of Neuroblastoma
Small round blue cells:

Tumor cells arranged in circular formations around a central area of fibrillary neuropil, indicating early neural differentiation.

High mitotic activity:

Reflects rapid proliferation and aggressive behavior.

Necrosis and calcification:

Common in high-grade tumors, often with apoptotic debris.

Background neuropil:

Fine fibrillary material between cells, representing primitive neural processes.
