Detroit has lost five straight and has struggled on the road with a 5-6-2 record. They’ve averaged just 2.87 goals scored per game while allowing 3.7 goals against, with, Ville Husso, posting a disappointing 3.39 GAA and .884 save percentage.
Buffalo, has been similarly shaky, also on a six-game skid. They’re scoring at a moderate rate of 2.93 goals per game but allowing 3.19 goals against, slightly better defensively than Detroit. Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen, is expected in net and has been solid with an 8-7-3 record and a 2.82 GAA, but his consistency remains a question.

Blackhawks vs Rangers Prediction,
The Chicago Blackhawks, (8-17-2) travel to New York to face, the Rangers, (14-10-1) on Monday. Chicago enters the matchup in poor form, having lost five straight and struggling offensively with fewer than two goals scored in three consecutive games. Arvid Soderblom, is expected in net for, the Blackhawks, and while his individual numbers are respectable (2.60 GAA, .915 save percentage), he’s received little support from his team.
The Rangers, have been inconsistent but are significantly better overall, particularly at home where they hold a 7-5-1 record. Igor Shesterkin, will start for New York, posting a 9-9-1 record with a 2.99 GAA.

New York Islanders vs Ottawa Senators Prediction,
The New York Islanders, (9-11-7) visit, the Ottawa Senators, (11-12-2) for a Sunday matchup, with both teams completing back-to-back games. The Islanders, enter on a rough stretch, losing five of their last six, including a 5-2 defeat against, the Seattle Kraken. Offensively, New York has struggled with a league-low power play and an underwhelming goals-for average of 2.48. Defensively, they allow 3.00 goals per game, and their penalty kill ranks last in the NHL.

Ducks vs Canadiens Prediction,
The Montreal Canadiens, (10-14-3) welcome, the Anaheim Ducks, (10-12-3) on Monday night at the Bell Centre. Both teams are in the midst of inconsistent campaigns, though Montreal has been relatively stronger on home ice with a 7-6-2 record. Sam Montembeault, will start in goal for the Canadiens, posting a 2.89 GAA and three shutouts this season, though the team’s defense has struggled, allowing 3.59 goals per game.
