How to get your HMO valuation right | HMO Commercial Valuation

I have seen too many people write on social media that their HMO was down valued or could not get a commercial valuation. For a property investor, this is an outcome you want to completely avoid.

How do HMO valuations work?
What type of valuation should you go for?

There are two types of valuations you can get for a property – Brick and Mortar Valuation, and Commercial Valuation. For your Buy to Let property, you will use a Brick and Mortar Valuation and you need to do your research so you avoid mistakes.

For an HMO property you need a Commercial Valuation to successfully invest and get a good return on investment as soon as possible. In this video, I’m giving real life example – a very high spec HMO which we recently finalised in Birmingham and which was valued at double its selling price when we bought it.
