Informal Tango Interviews is a new series on YouTube involving all kinds of tango people like you and me, who tell a bit about the story of their tango life and if applicable, also about a particular aspect they are especially known for or knowledgeable about.

This time we interview Patricia Müller, an exercise/movement expert who pioneered tango in the city of Florence in the 90s, and it's a real pioneer story indeed. Without the easy access to internet we have nowadays, she had to manage almost everything herself (learning, learning to lead, teaching, organizing, DJing) while getting some input from people visiting from abroad, who were specialized in (apilado) "milonguero style", which to this day is Patricia's big love. Patricia is also an expert in tai chi and qi gong and this gave her a head start for teaching tango. Patricia also wrote books about tango and has an active YouTube channel (links below). She is a very interesting person with a lot of experience and a lot of stories to tell: in this episode she also talks about her bizarre first visit to Buenos Aires.... arriving exactly when the ''corralito'' happened, the total economic meltdown of Argentina in 2001.
