Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire【4K】| Town Centre Walk 2021

Join me for a walk around the centre of one of Britain's foremost industrial towns, Scunthorpe! Born out of a grouping of rural villages in the 1850s when iron ore was re-discovered in the ground, this town has risen to become one of the five leading centres of steel production in the country, with a heap of local history to uncover too!

On our walk around Scunthorpe, we pass a number of interesting landmarks, including the former St. John's Church, 20-21 Visual Arts Centre, Church Square, Scunthorpe Central Library, The Foundry Shopping Centre, Scunthorpe Steelworkers Sculpture, High Street, The Tavern (formerly the Oswald Hotel), the Penny Bank Pub, The Blue Bell Inn, Oswald Road, North Lincolnshire Museum, Scunthorpe and District War Memorial, Frodingham Vicarage, St. Lawrence's Church and Scunthorpe station.
