This is an amalgam featuring the live recording of Christopher Kaufman's Hudson Valley Music by Quintet Of The Americas (woodwind quintet) - Lowes Theater - NYU - 2010.

This was the last event of our Spring Tour of 2010 (12 performances). Quintet of the Americas commissioned this work for their 30th Anniversary. It was premiered on Earth Day.

The soundtrack features hundreds of natural and orchestral sounds. Thanks to Cornell (of which Kaufman is an alum) Lab of Ornithology for most of the natural sounds. The video is comprised of natural images and the art of Environmental Artist - Ken Cro-Ken

Hudson Valley Music tells a story - it takes you from the Long Island Sound, into the forest and up the Hudson River into mythological space.
