Definitely a rather slow process, but that's made up for by the fact that these hold the waste from an entire block worth of apartments and businesses. ;)

These were easily my favorite trucks in Europe, as it was my first time seeing this European method in person. Aimeri Ambiente (Aimeri Environment in English) runs these trucks on completely separate shifts, likely to avoid interference with each other. Where I was staying plastics/metals were collected Monday-Saturday at 6 am, garbage at 3 pm Monday-Saturday (but at 6 am on Sunday since the plastics/ metals don't get collected), paper Monday-Saturday at midnight, and glass doesn't have a set day or time. It's just collected randomly from what I saw.

These trucks are the Iveco Stralis (except for the glass truck) with the Nord Easy System body on it. These trucks' booms can rotate 180 degrees (as seen in the video) so it can collect containers on the right and left hand sides of the truck. The glass truck is a single axle Iveco Eurocargo, with a smaller version of the Nord body on it as well as a different arm that doesn't fold up like on its full size version. All glass is collected with these minis likely because of weight issues with the glass. Also, (as you get a quick glimpse of in the video) these trucks have hooklift bodies, very similar the PODs in Oceanside so they can simply just be transferred off. These containers are also made by Nord, and come in a variety of different sizes, and with the option of a lid or a hole for bottles.

Color coding is green for glass, blue for paper, gray for trash, and yellow for plastics/metals for those of you that are wondering.
