Minneriya is the most famous park to Asian elephants gathering in the world. So in august is the best time to see wild elephants in Sri Lanka. So if anyone comes here they can see more than 250 elephants in one group. Recently this park was famous due to fist recorded twin elephants in Sri Lanka. So may tourist and locals came to see them to this park.
So nowadays there are 250 elephants in one group, including babe elephants as well.
