Choco Magic is Calia Italia’s restyling of the original Magic model first designed in 1984 by founder Liborio Vincenzo Calia, now reimagined by architect Saverio Calia for the brand’s 60th anniversary. The result is a bold, seventies inspired silhouette with updated lines, including an elegant armrest that extends right down to the floor.

Comfort is the main story here. The seat cushions have a soft, rounded, soap shaped profile and sit on a subtly inclined base, giving that relaxed lounge posture without looking messy. The backrest includes a manually adjustable headrest that lifts with a simple movement, without metal mechanisms, so you can switch from a lower profile look to a more supported sit in seconds.

Materials and build details from Calia Italia
The structure is made using beech wood, pinewood, multilayer and plywood, covered with polyurethane foam. The seat cushions are ecological polyurethane foam covered with a 100 percent polyester layer.
