As we build the Candy Corn Cabin, we are learning what we are going to need to live off grid. We will have a generator for temporary power and hopefully solar panels in the future that will handle all the necessities.
Weather plays a big part in homestead preparedness. From knowing when to plant or fertilize, to when to harvest, you need to be paying attention to the weather. AND it is changing every day. What was norm a few years ago, isn't working anymore.
