As the previous update only was supported by Adobe Premiere Pro, this latest update can now be accessible to any editor! Users that edit with programs such as Final Cut Pro X, After Effects, Davinci Resolve, Vegas Pro, Filmora, Lumafusion & so much more can now utilize these awesome thermal effects.

Before we break down the juicy details on this thermal effects pack, it is important to understand the idea of how thermal imaging works. Of course, it would be almost impossible to create an exact replication of an actual thermal imagine camera. Why is that? In a simplified nutshell, authentic thermal effects are generally captured and recorded by infrared thermal cameras (ITC). Every DSLRs, phones, even our own eyes sends us a visual feed captured only by illumination signals. ITCs however reads the world around us a bit differently, for it’s general purpose is to detect heat/radiation patterns emitted from rooms, objects, people, you get the idea…

Unfortunately, unless you own an infrared camera that has the ability to record & read only heat signals, it’s extremely difficult to get 100% accuracy. HOWEVER, as an alternative approach, the next best option is something we are all very familiar with! Lighting. After careful research, experimenting & dedication, I was able to craft 12 classic thermal effects that will give your videos RGB accurate results and will look JUST AS GOOD!

Since I was personally ecstatic over the finalized results, I decided to take the extra time to include 45+ original KUROSU based thermal overlays as well!!! These group of effects are a lot more unique & stylized compared to the classics.
