2020 Hyundai Kona Electric Motor Noise - Wheel of misfortune

2020 Hyundai Kona Electric has a motor noise problem. This problem is also known as wheel of misfortune. The sound on this video is recorded from inside the hood. The weather was 24 degree celsius at the time of recording. If inside the hood is hot (motor, reduction gear, etc.), there is a slight reduction in the problematic noise. The car will be serviced at Hyundai Bulgaria.

For those wondering, after the service visit the problem is gone. Hyundai Bulgaria (IND Auto in Sofia) did an exceptional job and I highly recommend them if you are in Europe. In my case it was the reduction gear that needed to be replaced. This car has a 5 year unlimited km warranty in Europe so everything was free of charge.
