OHOHOHohoooooo, how about that DOOM: The Dark Ages announcement on that surprisingly awesome Xbox Games Showcase eh?? Smart move to begin on that & Black Ops 6. They basically already won the battle for the week, and then it just keeps getting better with all the other announcements!

Since Hades 2 was out recently as well, I've been playing the crap out of that game grinding to prepare for the full version. And when I went to Tartarus & hear the remixed version of Out of Tartarus from the first game (Cheekily titled Into Tartarus), the only thing that came to my mind was "HAAANG on a minute, this sounds so much like Doom 2016's main theme!" And so the song got stuck in my head since, so I need to make this nice little song mix while it's still fresh.

I retuned both the Tartarus theme from both Hades so that they sound like DOOM's theme, and also tinker with the songs so it doesn't have much of the awkward triple notes that's all over the place in the original songs. And then add it back in at the second half when it comes full circle & eventually the DOOM influence sets into the song. Enjoy & look forward to DOOM The Dark Ages! And also Hades 2's full version ;)
