What Unawatuna Beach REALLY Is Like 🇱🇰

We are staying in Galle City which I find an increadible place. Most of the foreigners do it the other way around and stay at Unawatuna Beach and maybe go and visit Galle Fort on one day or go for some shopping. We are not exactly sure why this is. Is it because foreigners don't really want to stay in the real Sri Lanka? Do they need to stay in a overprices beach resort town instead in one of the coolest and also most beautiful cities of Sri Lanka? So we went and visited to investigate: What is better, Unawatuna or Galle? Or can you not compare one with the other? Here is what will wait for you if you visit.
