Union Minister Anant Kumar Hegde has backed Sadhvi Pragya's comment on Nathuram Godse where she called him a 'patriot'. Sadhvi Pragya later apologised for the comment. Hegde has made a case for her in a tweet where he said that 'today generation debates in changed environment' which 'gives scope to the condemned to be heard'. He also said that Godse would have been happy with the debate. He also added that it was time to be assertive and move away from being apologetic.
