Trail Blazing with Kids! The backpacking adventures of a family of four with two young children. Backpacking solo can be difficult on its own, but even harder with young children. We hope that sharing information of our outdoor adventures will help other families journey outdoors and share their amazing experiences with the world.

Here we gear up for another week on the AT and check our gear with a quick backpacking trip to Alderman’s Ford Conservation Park in Hillsborough County, Florida. We hiked roughly 3 miles in to the primitive camp sites and enjoyed the beautiful wildlife that Florida has to offer.
