Today we gonna show you how to test our TEMPERATURE SENSOR with iStartek VT200-L GPS Tracker at your office before you can make actual installation in your vehicle

STEP ONE is about Tools preparation:
1. You need one laptop or a computer
2. You need a USB Cable for online configurations
3. You need a TEMPERATURE SENSOR
4. You need a 12V power supply
5. And you need VT200L GPS Tracker with one Sim Card

STEP TWO is about Making connections

Connect Yellow wire from Temperature sensor to Purple wire of VT200L GPS Tracker.
Connect Red wire from Temperature sensor to red wire of VT200L which is found on RS232 Port.
Connect black wire from Temperature sensor to black wire of VT200L GPS Tracker which is found on RS232 Port.
Please be reminded that VT200L has 2 red wires and 2 black wires, so make sure that Temperatures sensor is connected with red wire and black wire from RS232 port, otherwise it will be burned
Connect 12v power supply red and black wire to the red and black wire of power cable from VT200L GPS Tracker
 Finally, Connect our VT200L GPS Tracker to your computer by iStartek USB Cable.

STEP THREE: is about Parameter Editor Configurations:
After you have finished to do connections, you will open istartek Parameter editor on your desktop, choose the right com port, click Open.
You can see that it shows connected.
Click read all to check the device settings.
Click GPRS and set APN, IP, Port, set GPRS Mode as TCP and set Time interval uploading.
Come and click to Temp, stands for temperature, as you can see this is temperature sensor pairing, you set Index, for instance 1 depending on how many temperature sensors you want to configure.
You name the Temperature sensor, for instance Temp1, Click pair, Temperature pairing completed.
Now you can set Temperature sensor High and Low alarms value according to your wish and Click Write.
And as you can see, here it shoes that our GPS Tracker can support up to 8 temperature sensors, so if you want to set many temperature sensors, you can use the same way as we used before.
Connect temperature sensor to GPS Tracker correctly and come to istartek parameter editor, set Index number and name your temperature sensor and pair. Click write
After you finished, come to info and click write all

LAST STEP is about Checking our temperature sensor on the Tracking Platform
You come to your tracking platform website, if you are using istartek tracking platform, you can insert our username we gave to you and the password we gave to you and you Login into the tracking platform.
Click monitor, check the device that you have configured, this is our VT200L GPS Tracker.
As you can see, this is the temperature sensor value right now shown by Tracking platform meaning that our temperature sensor has been configured successfully. Thank you so much
