"وألنا له الحديد
أن اعمل سابغات"
السابغات يعني الدروع السابغات.
God says: "We softened iron for him
(Prophet David). Make full-length armors,…"
السابغ إسباغ الوضوء
يعني تغسل الأعضاء كاملة.
كمان الدرع السابغة
Prophet David was taught by Allah
to make full-length armors perfectly
يلي تحميك بشكل كامل
ما فيها نقصان أو قصر. في شيء
من بطنك مكشوف لتحت بطنك
which were long enough to protect the body
down to half of the thighs including abdomens.
لعند نصف فخذك
هي تكون سابغة.
أما إذا كانت قصيرة
However, if those armors were short,
they would reveal sensitive parts of the body
مواضع الخطر مكشوفة للعدو
هي غير سابغة
that would be targeted easily by
the enemies. Then the verse reads:
"وقدر في السرد"
يعني وقت تصنع الدرع.
…balancing well the rings of chain armor…""
كان الدرع قبل داود صفيحة من حديد.
المقاتل وهو حاطت
Before Prophet David, warriors wore
iron sheets to protect themselves
لوح من حديد.
اللوح يعرقل حركاته
when they fought in battles and that
would hinder their movements, running
وركضه وهربه.
لكن لما عمله
and withdrawing from the battles.
من حلقات صغيرة
صار متل الثوب
However, Prophet David made armors from
small iron rings like garments which didn't
يثنى معه لا يعيق الحركة.
إذا كان الموديل تبع سيدنا داود
hinder the movements of the fighters.
So David's innovative model was by far better.
كان دائما النبوات تقدم الانتقال
من الحسن إلى الأحسن
Thus, prophethood is a transition from good
to the better, from imperfection to perfection,
من النقص إلى الكمال
من الكمال إلى الأكمل.
and from perfection to the highest level
of perfection. The Quran denounces stagnation:
"قالوا إنا وجدنا آباءنا على أمة وإنا
"The wealthy ones said: 'We found our
fathers following a 'particular' way,
على آثارهم مقتدون.
قال أولوا جئتكم
and we will certainly follow in their footsteps.'
(The warner) said: 'Even if I bring
بأهدى مما وجدتم عليه أباءكم...."
you better guidance than that which
you found your fathers following?'"
باسم العلم عم نتخلف
ونرجع إلى وراء.
باسم الدين عم نرجع إلى وراء
Some people claim that in the name of knowledge or religion, we Muslims, are going backwards.
بالاسم. أما بحقيقة الدين
بجوهر الدين هاد بده علم
ومعلم بده فقه وفقيه
In fact, this is untrue because if we go back to
the essence of religion guided by knowledgeable
بده مدرب ومربي
بده حكيم وحكماء.
مع عميق الأسف مدارسنا الدينية الشرعية
wise scholars and mentors, we will make difference. Unfortunately, our Islamic schools don't
ما فيها برنامج يحقق فيها هاد الهدف.
ولأن وجد علماء يحققون الهدف
really have programs to achieve that goal.
Actually, only a few scholars achieved success
من أكثر من مدرسة حتى استطاعوا
أن يصلوا إلى ما هم عليه من نجاح
and good results by combining programs from different schools through using wisdom.
وحكمة وإنتاج حسن.
"وألنا له الحديد"
God says:
"We softened iron for him."
العلماء قالوا إلانة الحديد
إما بالطريقة العادية بالنار
Scholars say that God made iron moldable for Prophet David either through the ordinary way
أو بمعجزة إلهية.
الله أعطاه من القوة
by exposing it to fire or through a Divine
miracle that God made him so powerful that
ما جعل الحديد بين يديه كالعجين.
يعني طراه له من غير نار.
يعني الله هلق يطري التين بالنار؟
he made iron in his hands as soft as dough.
Similarly, God makes figs soft without fire.
قبل ما يستوي يكون يابس
متل الجوز بعدين بصير طري
Figs are dry before they ripen.
Then, they become very soft.
بعدين يذوب ذوبان.
الله لينه
"وألنا له الحديد"
وفي ناس بيكونوا مثل الحديد
God says:
"We softened iron for him."
كمان الله يلين قسوتهم
قسوة طباعهم
قسوة قلوبهم.
There are people who are as hard as iron.
Then, God softens their hard nature and hearts.
