A music video to the song "Johnny Mahoe" by the legendary Hawaiian singer, Israel Kamakawiwo'ole. (Braddah Iz) It tells the tale of Johnny Mahoe, pride of the hometown, number one schoolboy. Everyone respected Johnny, until he joined a gang and goes bad... There are never happy endings for stories like this...

In our interpretation of the song, we see a boy walking down the road (Where to? I dunno, school perhaps?) and he sees two thuggish looking boys sitting against a wall. They call him over, but just before he walks over, a large stranger pops out of a bush and stops him.... Then he starts singing! Cutting between the singer, and the reenactment of Johnny Mahoe, the story is tragically revealed. After which the boy from the beginning realizes he's better off keeping away from the wrong crowd.

Based on a true story, complete with synchronized singing, emotionally moving effects, an awesome ukulele solo, comicaly portrayed gang members and activities, and a dog... This was by far our greatest video ever aired last year.
