Here I demo a “STP Drive” aka Colorsound Overdriver with switchable pre boost and shape control that blends in diodes with a three way diode clipping toggle.
This pedal sounds absolutely massive! It was a perfect combination with the boost in front to send it into a higher saturated gain. Natural overdrive tones from the STP driver makes this pedal very organic and works with your amp to create some really gnarly sonic textures.
Recorded using an Aluminum neck guitar into a Fender Hot Rod deluxe into a CAD D80 and Nady SP-1 microphones using a Zoom R24 interface into my phones camera.
