The renowned fashion illustrator has created an exclusive capsule for us – go behind the designs in the first of our new series which looks at the world of the makers who’ve shaped our collection this season.

Blair Breitenstein is famed for her smudgy charcoal and watercolor sketches of chichi doe-eyed girls, which turned her into an art-scene darling; our collection this season was influenced by the movers and shakers of the art world. So we joined the dots and asked her to collaborate with us on a capsule for men, women and kids. Here, the Seattle-raised, New York-based artist talks inspiration, fashion vs illustration and embracing mistakes.
