Malabar Devaswom Board forcibly takes control of temple with the help of policemen

Despite considerable complaints from devotees, the Malabar Devaswom Board, which is part of the Kerala government, has taken over the Mattannur Mahadeva Temple in Kannur. Board officials arrived at the temple at 10 a.m. on October 13th and seized charge of it under police protection.
