1. CBSE issues urgent notice regarding fake website, sample papers.
NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released an official notification regarding a fake website claiming that the Board has released sample papers and that the questions will be asked from those model papers only in Class 10 and 12 board examinations 2023. CBSE has alerted all stakeholders to be extremely careful and not respond to any of such fake messages and website links.

2. Education Ministry invites applications for Slovenia scholarships 2023.
Ministry of Education have invited applications from eligible candidates for scholarships offered by the government of Republic of Slovenia. The last date to apply for scholarships offered by the government of Slovania is March 8. “Along with applying online, dossier must also be sent addressed to “The Undersecretary (Scholarships), Ministry of Education, West Block -1, Wing – 6, 2nd Floor, R.K. Puram, New Delhi – 110066. Dossier must be marked as “Slovenian Government Scholarship 2023/2024 Application”,” the notification reads.

3. Government asks all States, UTs to make 6 years minimum age for Class 1 admission.
Students can be admitted to Class 1 only at the age of “6+” years instead of the earlier practice of “5+” years, the Education Ministry told States and Union Territories on Wednesday, reiterating its earlier direction. Currently, several States and schools follow disparate age formulas for Class 1 admissions The Centre’s reminder is in line with the latest National Education Policy’s emphasis on improving foundational learning by bringing early childhood care and education under the formal schooling system and moving it from the aegis of the Ministry of Women and Child Development to the Education Ministry.

4. UP to Follow Netherlands' Model to Check School Drop-outs.
The Uttar Pradesh government will be sending a 12-member team — led by Sandeep Singh, the Basic Education Minister — to The Netherlands to study the ‘Early Warning System’. This model is likely to help the state re-enrolling school dropouts, particularly in the age bracket of 6 to 14 years, said a government spokesman.

5. AIIMS to host brainstorming session on every second Saturday of month.
The interactions will be held at AIIMS and it will be an open house. NEW DELHI: Interactions to brainstorm next-generation research initiatives and facilitate existing projects will be held among students, teachers and scholars of AIIMS-Delhi and representatives of government departments and institutes every second Saturday of the month. The interactions will be held at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) here and it will be an "open house".
