Classless Inter-Domain Routing or CIDR is a concept associated with IPv4 subnetting, and is often used interchangeably to refer to Classless IPv4 addressing or VLSM. Although related, it represents a somewhat distinct functionality of IPv4. In this video, I'll be clarifying the definition of CIDR and how it is related to, distinct from, these other concepts.

When I was learning about IPv4, this was a difficult topic to get my head around, so I'm hoping that this won't be the case for you!
