Sad news that Nigel Brown died yesterday. He was a good bloke and a brilliant musician. Extremely creative and was highly strung, we fell out over a difference of opinions but I never lost sight of the incredible person he was. I regret not doing more to heal the rift. He produced some fanstastic music when he was in Australia that never got the recognition it deserved. And when we reconnected in 2020, I could see he had grown as a man, was worldly wise and full of passion to make some new songs, particularly in the face of the C*vid tyranny, we nurtured an uncanny working relationship and created so many songs. He was dedicated to his music.
He had been going through some very tough times but found a kindred spirit in his new wife.
I was shocked to hear the news of his passing. I wanted to pay tribute to him (I'm sure he'd wince at my guitar playing but perhaps appreciate the sentiment).

Nigel had a great sense of humour and I've included part of a novelty song we made. The sound of him laughing was his first reaction to it - sent via a voice message.
For two years we were as close as brothers. Not only has he left a wife behind but two sons, two daughters and one step-son whom he cherished.
It's so young to go, particularly as he wasn't jabbed. He will be missed.
