iPadOS Gets Smarter with Gen AI in 18

Apple has officially unveiled iPadOS 18, packed with exciting new features and enhancements. A standout addition is Apple Intelligence, which combines advanced generative AI models with your personal context to deliver powerful writing tools, image creation capabilities, and an enhanced Siri experience with more natural conversations.

The Apple Pencil receives several upgrades, including a calculator with math notes, advanced handwriting tools, and smart script in Notes. Customization options now allow you to freely arrange apps, widgets, and controls on the Home Screen, Control Center, and app icons.

The Photos app has been redesigned with a unified view and easy access to favorite collections, while Messages introduces new text effects and scheduling. Safari brings distraction-free browsing and a new dedicated Passwords app for centralized password management.
