Comeback Of The Legendary GRIM REAPER Lures! Handcrafted in NZ

Grim Reaper Lures are famous metal fishing jigs that are currently making a big comeback in New Zealand. These lures have been super successful at catching snapper, kahawai and kingfish.
Most seasoned fisherman will know these lures and will probably have a few in their tackle box as these lures have been around since the late 80's.
A few years after disappearing from the market, the original lure-making machine was resurrected by a local fishing legend, Dean, who took it upon himself to restore this piece of angling history and bring the famed Grim Reaper lures back into availability.

In this video, we explore the original Grim Reaper lure machine and show you step-by-step how the incredible lures are made. Grim Reaper lures are still mostly handcrafted.
The new and improved lures have several advantages over the original lures, such as UV powder coat paint and ultra-sharp jig assist hooks for catching those big snapper.
