The game showcases twenty-four minigames in five categories which both players have to use an 8-way joystick and a single button to take part in.

The categories are Timing in which the players have to press their buttons at a specific time. Shikō in which the players must select the right answer from several choices. Renda In which the players have to repeatedly press their buttons, and one of the games in this category is like a role reversal of the "Cattle Mutilation" stages in Taito Corporation's Majestic Twelve. Technical in which the players must collect certain objects while avoiding other ones. 2-Ri Sen'yō in which the players have to compete against each other to select the correct answer first, and as the name implies, the games in this category can't be played alone .

You pick and play 4 minigames trying to beat them the best way possible, there are no lives in this game, only ranks from E- to S, if you complete them all with an S Rank (100% completion), a Bonus Stage will be playable. In this stage you'll replay the first mini-game that you picked but with an harder difficulty.

If you clear this stage, you'll receive to a bonus score, so you'll be completing the game with a percentage that goes over 100% and the true "good" ending of the game with credits. If you fail, you'll be kicked out directly to the score input screen, we call this a "bad" ending.

The players also receive a password after a run is over, which could be entered on Namco's website to play a unique web game that it was active until September 30, 2003.
