MSI GT73VR Titan Pro Review

Lisa Gade reviews the MSI GT73VR 7RF Titan Pro, a 17.3” desktop replacement gaming laptop with Intel 7th gen Kaby Lake quad core 45 watt CPUs and NVIDIA GTX 1080, GTX 1070 and GTX 1070 SLI options. The GT series is MSI’s top of the line with excellent performance and cooling. The Titan Pro GT73VR line is available with Core i7-7700HQ and i7-7820HK CPUs, DDR4 RAM (64GB max), a 256GB SSD, 1TB 7200 RPM HDD and Killer AC1525 WiFi and Killer Gigabit Ethernet.

It’s available with a G-Sync 1920 x 1080 120Hz fast 5ms refresh for games/fps and there’s a 4K IPS option. It has 3 M.2 SSD bays (available mostly with PCIe NVMe drives), a SteelSeries RGB backlit keyboard, switchable graphics via hardware button, a Thunderbolt 3 port and more. Pricing ranges from under $2,000 to over $3,000 depending on GPU and CPU.
