Izhmash Saiga Russian AK Sporters In America (Imports, Variants, & Sanctions)

Описание к видео Izhmash Saiga Russian AK Sporters In America (Imports, Variants, & Sanctions)

Between 1994 and 2014, no fewer than 7 companies imported and sold Saiga variants on the US commercial market. The Saiga was built entirely at the historic Izhmash factory (once Izhevsk Machine Plant & today part of Kalashnikov Concern) and was the first Russian AK type available to Americans.
EAA & RWC sold true Saiga Hunter/Sporter versions, while Arsenal & FIME sold the more military-like SGL series.
This is the entire story from the earliest small batches from Big Bear, through the sanctions of 2014.
