My top 3 tips to stop weekend overeating!

This used to be me. Under eating all week only to overeat all weekend. You might think “It’s ok though because it all evens out.” You know where that left me??? It left me about 20lbs heavier than I wanted to be living in this restrictive dieting mindset with a slow metabolism. And I bet there are many of you reading this nodding their heads right now!

There’s no way I would be here where I am, easily maintaining my weight, not tracking my food, exercising in moderate amounts if I was still living in that binge/restrict cycle.

I would get caught up in this “lose weight, drop calories low!” mindset and it NEVER worked out for me

The biggest thing I learned through all this trial and error was that TOO MUCH RESTRICTION NEVER SETS YOU UP FOR SUCCESS!

Yeah that deserves to be in all caps. I AM yelling this at you.

Without all of my “failures” and attempts at cutting calories back so low that could never be sustainable, I would have never realized how truly feeding yourself and your metabolism can change our bodies. And I never would have created my signature coaching method “The Moxie Method”” that has changed my life and the lives of thousands of women across the globe!

If you struggle with overeating on the weekends here are three things you can try:

1️⃣ Try hitting a calorie AVERAGE for the week. If you know you like to eat more on the weekend, try taking calories down JUST A LITTLE BIT during the week to allow for a little more on the weekend.

2️⃣ Set calories high enough that you don’t feel like binging the minute your routine is different and more relaxed.3️⃣ Include enough of your favorite foods DURING THE WEEK so that you don’t feel deprived when Friday night hits!
