Brownie Mix in A Jar
2 cups of white sugar
1 cup flour
2/3 cup cocoa powder
½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt

Layer those ingredients into a one quart mason jar. Your jar is ready for gift giving.

Baking instructions:
Add 4 beaten eggs and 1 cup melted butter or cooking oil and 2 tsps vanilla.

Mix well and spread into an 8 X 8 inch square baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.

Chocolate Chip Cookies In A Jar

2 cups + 2 TBSPS flour
1 TBSP corn starch
½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
Mix the above ingredients together and layer into the jar.

Next add 1 cup packed brown sugar and tamp it down
Next add ¼ cup white sugar
Top with 1 cup chocolate chips.
Your jar is ready for gift giving.

Baking instructions:
Add 12 TBSPS soft butter
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla

Mix all ingredients together and scoop dough out on to a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees F for 10 to 12 minutes

Muffin Mix in A Jar

Mix together
1 ½ cups flour
1 ½ tsps. baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
Pour the dry ingredients in the jar tamp down
Add 1 cup old fashioned oats
Add ½ cup packed brown sugar tamp down
Add ½ cup white sugar
Add ½ to ¾ cup chocolate chips or raisins and nuts or dried cranberries

Baking instructions:

Mix everything together in a mixing bowl and add:
2 cups milk
2 eggs well beaten
¼ cup veg oil

Mix to combine and ten add to muffin tins. You can use liners here for easy clean removal. Bake at 350 degrees for 14 to 18 minutes or until the center of the muffin springs back when you press you finger on it.
