How to Knit a Simple Scarf

In this video I show you how to knit a very simple and easy scarf. Perfect for the beginner. Materials I used for my scarf and this video are as follows:

Bernat softee chunky yarn or any bulky yarn will work
Size US13 or 9.0mm needles

For my scarf I cast on 25 stitches, but if you would like a wider or more narrow scarf, or maybe you would like to make a blanket. This pattern calls for :
Multiples of 4 + 1
The pattern is as follows:

Mistake Rib Stitch
Row1 - K1 [*k1, p1, k2]; repeat from * to end
Row2 - *[P1, k3]: repeat from * to last st. p1

Repeat rows 1-2 until desired length
Bind off in pattern after a row 2
