Union Pacific 844 Departs Cheyenne, WY October 2016

Welcome to Union Pacific 844's Trek to Tennessee!!! NVRRP was on hand for the first 4 days of the living legend's journey in late 2016 to Memphis, Tenn. to commemorate a special bridge dedication ceremony. From Cheyenne to Kansas City, we worked hard to provide you this series of maximum trackside coverage. In this video, we kick off the excursion with the small train backing West out of the Cheyenne Shops, and onto the mainline. From there, the train storms eastbound at speeds in excess of 65 MPH to the day's first service stop in Kimball, Nebrasa. Hang on friends, as the chase has just begun! Rate. Comment. Subscribe.
