On the Wrist, from off the Cuff: Sinn – 556 A, Attainable Everyday Icon

On this episode we review one of the most iconic mid-tier watches available, the Sinn 556 A. The 556 line sets the standard for quality pilots watches, it's leagues ahead of most watches below its price point and really not too far off of iconic pilots watches that are double the cost. Now it's not the 'best' watch in any particular category but everything it does do, it just does so excellent that you can easily understand how such a stark and minimalist watch has gained so much popularity over the years. While it doesn't offer a huge bargain per its specs, it does offer a very solid timepiece at a very solid value. So it's a $1,300 watch that feels like one on wrist. It's a serious timepiece for those looking to fill that space in their collection and I think in that respect, the Sinn 556 A really delivers and justifies its current price point.
