"A couple of years ago I went to Nashville to help a friend edit a prime-time country music special for ABC. When I took the job, I warned him I knew nothing about the country music scene. So when he assigned me to edit a profile of a 17 year-old singer named Taylor Swift, I had no idea who she was. But after cutting this piece, I was not surprised by her subsequent rise to stardom. My only regret in cutting this piece is not realizing how big a star she was about to become. (If I had, I'd have taken a better copy when before I left.)"
