मनोज के पापा सरपंच हैं, और उनके गाँव में स्कूल है नहर के पार, जहाँ बच्चों को काफी घूम के जाना पड़ता है। नहर पर पुल बन जाए, तो रास्ता छोटा हो जाएगा। पुल बनने की लागत नहर की चौड़ाई पर निर्भर करती है। लेकिन उनको इसकी चौड़ाई नहीं पता? क्यों ना त्रिकोणमिति इस्तेमाल की जाए। चलो देखते हैं और सीखते हैं त्रिकोणमिति!

Manoj ke papa sarpanch hain, aur unke gaon me school hai nahar ke paar, jahan bacchon ko kaafi ghoom ke jana padta hai. Nahar pe pul ban jaye, to rasta chota ho jayega.
Pul banne ki lagat nahar ki chowdai pe nirbhar karti hai.
Lekin unko iski chaudai nahi pata?

Manoj's father is the village head (sarpanch), and there is a school across the canal in their village, where children have to take a long route to reach. If a bridge is built over the canal, the route will become shorter. The cost of building the bridge depends on the width of the canal. However, they do not know the width of the canal.
