Scientists have developed a revolutionary method to make aluminum transparent—a real-life version of what once seemed like pure science fiction. The material, known as transparent aluminum oxide (TAIOx), is incredibly strong, highly heat-resistant, and nearly scratch-proof.
For years, producing TAIOx was too expensive and complicated, requiring lasers, vacuum chambers, or harsh chemicals.
