UBI... Silicon Valley entrepreneurs like Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg support it. Some economists claim it can end poverty. It’s been touted as a solution to income inequality and a bloated welfare state. It’s even been endorsed by thought leaders across the political spectrum. But, is Universal Basic Income too good to be true? Will it foster laziness and dependency? And, who the hell is going to pay for it?
