He got me a Philodendron Spiritus Sancti and I panicked. I respond well to stress, but my goodness--the conflicting feelings I felt opening that box and unwrapping that plant were like no other. It's not everyday that I get to open a unicorn plant. LOL Thank goodness it's doing well!!
