The Sangean ATS-405 is not the most
sensitive radio I own, but it has some
interesting features, including advanced
settings, like AGC.

AGC has three values: 30 dB, 50dB and AUTO.

In this reception of La Voz Missionario from
Brazil, we can hear some severe fading
that sounds much better at he 30 dB setting
than the 50 dB setting.

On this radio, press and hold the "Menu"
key, then press the "6" key for the AGC
setting mode. Use the up and down arrows
to switch between the three values.
