Princess leonor of spain, heir presumptive to the spanish throne, is continuing her military journey in style as she arrived at the naval military academy in marine to begin the first year of her naval military training on thursday 29 augst 2024.Upon her arrival at the naval academy, Princess leonor was received by the commanding director of the academy and began her activities on board as a first-year midshipman.Wearing navy white uniform, the princess of asturias met with military officials and took a tour of the facility, and signed the book of honour,."The princess is now embarking on the navy section of her training, as she has completed one year in the army, following in her father's king felipe vi footsteps, who completed similar training prior to becoming a working royal. Her naval training will include an initial period at the naval military academy until christmas. future queen of spain, will embark on a training cruise around the world aboard the training ship Juan Sebastián Elcano early next year. Once she has finished her naval training, leonor de borbón will complete her third year of military training "in the Air and Space Army, joining the San Javier General Air Academy for the 2025-2026 academic year as Ensign Student."
