Sliding Glass Door Roller Replacement

How to replace the roller assemblies in a glass sliding door

I made this video because I needed to replace the slide rollers in my 10 year old glass sliding door. I looked on YouTube for videos demonstrating how to do this, and while there were a few good videos out there, I couldn't find one that looked like my door. I realised I had to remove the bottom slide rail from the door assembly. But to do that I had to first pop the door's side frames out a little, because the roller assemblies were kind of locked into the door's side frames.

No one was around to help me film this, so please excuse the quality of the video. Obviously some things required two hands, so I could not film everything. But hopefully this video will give you an overview of what you will need to do.

I didn't film removing the door and putting the door back in, since there are plenty of videos which do this already and it's pretty straight forward. I mainly wanted to show you how to remove and replace the roller assemblies in this type of door.

The original part numbers of the roller assemblies are:
Doric DR358L (left side)
Doric DR358R (right side)

These are being replaced by:
Rolltrak 1340 (left side)
Rolltrak 1330 (right side)

Each of these cost me just over AUD$16 at my local Bunnings Warehouse.
