BSNL To Start Internet Revolution in 2024. BSNL is going to make a big change in the communication medium of all the homes, government and non-government offices of the country by 31 March 2024. By the end of 2024, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited will convert all landlines in the country into broadband connections. In the month of March of the new year, the use of broadband for landline numbers will start from city to village. After this, internet service will be started in village schools, colleges, hospitals, Panchayat buildings and all government institutions at a monthly rent of Rs 100 to 250. The special thing is that with this, consumers will get the facility of internet along with calling on the same old number.

BSNL will charge Rs 100 to Rs 250 every month from consumers for broadband connection through fiber cable in villages. Internet and calling facility will be free in this. BSNL will also start similar service in other cities of the country like Delhi, Mumbai, Lucknow, Patna, Raipur, Indore, Bhopal, Jaipur and Chandigarh. In lieu of this, BSNL will charge Rs 250 to 500 from consumers every month. BSNL's broadband will provide approximately 100 Mbps speed.

BSNL has prepared a plan to provide FTF fiber connection in place of basic telephone from the beginning of 2024 . BSNL has set a target to convert landline into broadband connections in all the states of the country by March 2024, but due to the geographical location of some states and other problems, the target has been set to complete this work by the year 2024.
