Jonathan Bailey and Jeff Goldblum on fan reactions to Wicked and THAT big cameo moment

So we got the chance to sit down with Jonathan Bailey (you may know him from Bridgerton) and Jeff Goldblum, aka The Wizard of Oz himself, to talk about how fans have reacted to the show, how they built their characters for the adaptation and much more!

It's no secret that Wicked is indelibly linked to The Wizard of Oz, and so there's no surprise that director Jon M Chu wanted to include a couple of visual references to the iconic 1939 film in his new acclaimed musical adaptation.

The characters in Wicked have all been played by some legendary theatre performers during its long run on Broadway and the West End – most notably Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth's iconic turns as Elphaba and Glinda.

Fiyero – the role played by Bridgerton's Jonathan Bailey in the acclaimed new film adaptation – is no different, with Norbert Leo Butz having originated the character and a string of talented stars having brought him to life on stage since.
