Inaugural Journey Palakkad to Thoothukudi by 16792 Palaruvi Express

Southern Railway has extended the Palakkad – Tirunelveli Palaruvi Express till Tuticorin with effect from Aug. 15.
According to a statement, Train No. 16791/16792 Tirunelveli – Palakkad – Tirunelveli Palaruvi Express will be extended to run till Tuticorin and it will be permanently augmented with four more coaches one sleeper coach and three general second class coaches. Union minister of state for petroleum and natural gas Suresh Gopi has flagged off the inaugural service from Palakkad on Aug. 15.
Meanwhile, Southern Railway has also announced special trains between Chennai and Nagercoil to clear extra rush during of the long weekend starting from the Independence Day. #ernakulamjunction #trivandrum #garibrathexpress
