Welcome to the gardens of Vanha Talo Suomi!
Located in southern Finland, capital region of Uusimaa in the lake city of Lohja. Our garden composes an area of approximately 3000 sq. meters which translates to about 3/4 acre.

The gardens are part of a Rintamamiestalo (WWII Soldier Home) renovation and restoration effort we began in 2014. The gardens are 8 years old in 2024. We are located in Finnish hardiness zone II, which is equal to USDA hardiness zone 5-6a.

Other than mature apple trees which were planted in the 1960s, and the large trees on the borders of our property, everything in the video is new to this garden and was planted within the last 8 years.
