CatRatBatSplat is a fast-paced dice game where everyone plays on every turn. The object is to be the first player to get rid of all his or her cards. Mix up the game cards and deal six to each player. Place the rest of the cards in the center of the playing area face up. This is called the pile. The cards have different combinations of cat, rat, splat, and bat images on them. The first player rolls all four dice. All players now try to be the first to place a matching card face up on top of the pile. A matching card must have at least the correct total amount and type of images shown on the four dice. So if the dice show a cat, a cat, a splat, and a blank space, a matching card must have at least two cats and at least one splat. Whatever else is on the card doesn't matter. A player with a matching card must quickly call out all four images that are on the dice/his card at the same time he puts down the card. The winner of each round is the first player to do three things: place the matching card on the pile, quickly call out the right images, and do these things at the same time. If there is hesitation in calling out the images or if a player places a card that doesn't match, that player must take the matching card and the next card off the top of the pile as a penalty. The game comes with four oversized dice and 40 game cards. It is for two to six players.
