contour & highlight

Описание к видео contour & highlight

doing a little contouring and highlighting for my m_c betchezz!

i talk too much. ;D

Contours are "shadows" so you want to go darker than your actual skin tone.

I personally use the same shade on everyone to contour (NW55 Studio Stick Foundation), BUT it is all in the product control.
Less for a lighter skin tone, and a little more for darker skin tones.

But since that is kind of scary to some people to use something so dark especially you NC15's here are some of my other faves to use for contouring:
Studio Stick Foundation (go 2-3 shades darker than your skin tone)
Full Coverage Foundation (go 2-3 shades darker than your skin tone)
Harmony, Blunt, Taupe, & Emote Blushes
Sculpting Powders
Espresso, Brun, Cork, Carbon, Embark, & Wedge Eye Shadows

or any other various cream, powder, or liquid to create a shadow!!

For highlighting, i use different shades for different skin tones!! Some favorites:
Hyper Real, and Mineralized Satinfinish Foundations (1-2 Shades Lighter than your skin tone)
Cream Colour Bases, & Cream Blushes
Phloof!, Shroom, Rice Paper, Woodwinked, Brule, & Amber Lights Eye Shadows
Gloss Texture Cream
Golden Bronzer, Iridescent Powders, & Beauty Powders
Strobe Liquid & Cream

but again there are no rules, you can use anything!!

ALSO!!! for all my sistahs with a darker skin tone:
if your skin is darker than lets say an NW50, honestly you don't really need to contour!!
your skin can act as a natural contour and all you will have to do is highlight. so half the work for the same end result, so not fair!
